Casafina’s handwoven ceramic baskets are truly a work of art. They are produced in Portugal by artisans that are few and far between. The skill required is phenomenal and takes a great deal of patience to accomplish. They make a wonderful gift for anyone. We offer 3 sizes in all. The entire range of nine colors is available in the round as well as the oblong shape. The largest oval basket, with a more intricate weave, is available in seven original colors. Due to the handmade nature of this items, each is unique and will vary. These baskets can be put into an oven to keep baked goods warm up to 190ºC/ 375ºF. The open weave design helps to keep fruit fresh longer.
