Here's what's fun. We're constantly changing things around, and here lately, we've heard a lot of, "Oh, that wasn't there before!" Right?

     Our new favorite? The bridal registry table. We're bringing a brand-new bridal registry system to the store, and it's going to be awesome. Think about this. What would it be like as a bride to walk around our store with a real live person to hand-select every last bit of the placeware, home goods, and the beautiful things to compliment the necessities? Um, awesome!

             One of the things we've heard a lot of is, "I didn't even know you had that!" So it's a pleasure to start bringing what's in our store to you, because we feel pretty awesome about what's going on at Genevieve Bond. 

 Like boutique shopping? Us, too. Something about finding that extra-special treasure makes giving the gift a tiny bit more exciting. But want to know something interesting? We aren't your average gift shop. We have gifts, true. But we also have things beyond...things for the home, things for travel, things for accessorizing. The lines get blurred, and when it comes down to it, we've got a little bit of everything. Kind of like Coton Colors "Happy Everything," right? Maybe we'll start calling ourselves Genevieve Bond Gifts, A Little Bit of Everything. Just kidding.

Gift Mart Atlanta...what was it like? Mayhem, chaos, excitement, thrills and lots and lots of gifts! Every level, every booth, absolutely stuffed with all things gifts...and then some. You feel it?

     We would keep it simple, but it's impossible. A visit to market is the most thrilling part of boutique life--it's the opportunity to connect the greatest goods on earth with our amazing customers, and we love connecting the dots at Genevieve Bond. What kinds of things are headed your way? 

     For starters, fun new inventions like My Cup of Cake, just in time for Valentine's Day.

    What is it? Chocolate goodness in a microwaveable configuration, ready in three minutes. What?! How is it possible?! Genius ladies got together and said, "We want a simple dessert that impresses even the toughest of critics!" and voila...My Cup of Cake. Yum, yum, yum. We know because we've tasted it. And it's delicious!

            A lot of times January gets a reputation for the month to do inventory or the chance to play catchup from the busyness of the holiday season. It makes sense...in retail world, it tends to be the least busy month (generally speaking) and let's be honest-a bit lonely in the standing store world.

     But this time around we're looking at January as a chance to try something new, or rather, somethings new. We're launching our website loaded with new inventory, we're jumping into social media world with our new Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter accounts, and we're filling the store with new things, to fill the empty spaces the holiday season left.
